Today we visited the Jewish Synagogue at Singer's Hill in Birmingham. Our tour guides were Brian and Beryl. They told us lots of fascinating things including that there are 12 columns, 12 stained glass windows and 12 lights to represent the 12 Tribes of Israel. Some of the boys tried on the prayer shawls worn by men only. There was even some weddings! A huge thank you to all of the children for being such great ambassadors for St Teresa's School today.
Today we used our place value knowledge to play a game where we head to stop the other teams making the biggest number. We had to work in teams to decide where to place the digits. We have some very sneaky players!
We look really smart in our uniforms. We our standing in front of Our Tree of Kindness.
