Spellings will be given out every Monday for a test on the Friday of that week.
St John The Evangelist Visit
On Friday 29th September, we visited St John the Evangelist Church in Perry Barr. We had the opportunity to look round the Church and had a talk about the Church from Father Barrie Scott.
In our Literacy lessons during the last couple of weeks we have been learning Performance Poetry. We learnt the rap "Dinosaur Rap" by John Foster. We also performed it to the school on World Poetry Day on 28th September.
Some photos from our Games lesson on Thursday 5th October.
Today, Thursday 16th November, we visited Rock Up in Birmingham. We had a brilliant time and the children were definitely braver than Miss Gibbon.
On Wednesday 7th February we visited Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery to see the Anglo-Saxon Staffordshire Hoard. We explored Anglo-Saxon Villages and became archaeologists.
Times Table Songs
In Year 4 we have times tables tests every Friday. These songs may help you learn your tables.

ANGLO-SAXONS AND VIKINGS
During the Spring Term we learnt about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. We learnt lots of information and also made 3d models of an Anglo-Saxon Roundhouse and a Viking Long ship.
Year 4 had a visit from Explore Learning who helped us to learn and understand Roman Numerals.
